A chronograph with a distinctive dial. Cosmically inspired.

The new Meteor edition draws inspiration from the fascinating expanse of the solar system. The artistic cross-hatch of the mulit-layer dial reminds of the texture of meteorites and exudes powerful charm.

The brushed case made of 316L stainless steel is provided with a black PVD coating for additional scratch resistance. This gives the Tachymeter Edition Meteor a sporty, masculine look that immediately catches the eye. Flat, double-coated sapphire crystal keeps the timepiece slim and at the same time ensures an optimally protected dial.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire crystal.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Thoughtful design details

The black-turquoise multilayer dial is adorned with a refined cross-hatch, reminiscent of the appearance of meteorites.

The skeleton hands with white highlights and the turquoise second hand provide good readability with strong contrast to the dial.

12x applied mirror indices and turquoise highlights create plays of light and bring colour to the timepiece.

How to read a tachymeter scale?

1 — Check your mileage. At the next kilometer mark, start the tachymeter by pressing the start button (button A). The central chronograph hand will move.

2 — Keep an eye on the mileage display. At the next kilometer mark (1 km), pause the stopwatch (button A).

3 — You can now read your average speed on the tachymeter scale.

What our customers say about us

Why we make Bauhaus watches?

In your search for a classic and durable watch, you are faced with 2 alternatives today:

1. you can buy a watch from a luxury manufacturer for a very high price, or
2. a watch from a trendy brand whose quality is as short-lived as the trend that made the brand popular.

When I worked in a watch manufactory during my school days and was looking for a watch for myself, I realised that there would have to be a 3rd alternative.

3. Since 2016, we have been breaking new ground and developing timeless Bauhaus-style watches that will outlive trends and continue to give pleasure for many years to come. And all that at a fair price.

In the meantime, over 53,000 watch lovers are convinced of our mission and our watch design has received several awards.

Multifunctional chronograph movement

The OS20 quartz movement from the renowned manufacturer Miyota equips the tachymeter with a wealth of functions:

A 24-hour display is located at 3 o'clock, and the date function is integrated into the totalizer of the small and continuously running second hand at 6 o'clock.

The turquoise hand on the 9 o'clock sub-dial displays elapsed minutes when the chronograph button is activated. You can stop the time to the nearest second using the upper of the two buttons.

Cowhide strap, made in Germany

The tachymeter's leather strap comes from a Bavarian manufacturing company. To maintain the natural texture of the leather, we primarily work with fully tanned bands rather than painted ones. This complex tanning process makes each leather strap a handmade unique piece. The brown strap, including decorative stitching, complements the watch's colors and completes the overall picture.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

The Tachymeter in the press

"This is a watch that does what it says on the tin. It is straightforward and uncomplicated. With a 10mm thickness, a 50mm lug-to-lug, and 50m water resistance, it’s perfectly sized and sufficiently tough to be worn on a daily basis."
