The Naos Automatik Edition Oxford, limited to 999 pieces, is the premium version of our classic timepiece. Fans will immediately recognize the basic features of the award-winning design (iF Design Award 2020), but with the Naos Automatik Edition Oxford, you get to enjoy improved values.

The dial is typically restrained and clear, but with a fine curvature on the Naos Automatik Edition Oxford, it radiates an elegant warmth thanks to the alabaster color choice. Alabaster has long been associated with beauty and flawlessness in ancient times and was preferred for use in art and jewelry. The fine Bridle leather strap with gray contrast stitching completes the simple yet noble aesthetic of the Naos Automatik Edition Oxford.

Worry-free thanks to sapphire crystal

We only use sapphire crystal for our timepieces. This type of watch glass is usually found in the luxury watch market.

For a perfect view of the dial, we apply a double anti-reflective coating to the sapphire glass.

What exactly is sapphire crystal?

Sapphire is the third hardest transparent material in the world - after diamond and moissanite.

Curved sapphire crystal not only looks good, it makes the durable watch crystal even more resistant.

This makes it virtually impossible for your sapphire crystal watch to get scratched in everyday life.

Flat, versatile design

With a height of only 9 mm (excluding the glass) and a case diameter of 38 mm, the Naos Automatic Edition Oxford sits slimly on the wrist and is even a full 25% flatter than the Naos Automatic.

The stainless and robust 316L stainless steel of the polished silver case further enhances the noble effect.

Japanese premium automatic movement

The flat sapphire crystal back with an engraved limitation number provides a clear view of the engraved rotor and the premium 9015 movement from Miyota, which offers several improvements over the 8125 movement in the Naos Automatic.

Thanks to 28,800 vibrations per hour (4 hertz), the second hand glides more smoothly across the dial than on the Naos Automatic (21,600 vibrations/3 hertz).

In general, the higher the frequency, the more fluid the movement of the hand. The 28,800 vibrations per hour provide exactly 8 ticks per second.

The engine on your wrist: the Miyota 9015

The mechanical automatic movement 9015 from the Japanese manufacturer Miyota does not need any batteries at all. The wearer's natural hand movements cause the rotor to oscillate and thus the movement to run.

According to Miyota, the accuracy is max. -10/+30 sec/day.

Every timepiece is adjusted and tested by us after assembly, so that we are well below the maximum values.

Velvety soft leather strap made from robust English Bridle leather

In the middle of the Bavarian Forest, a small leather manufactory has been producing leather goods at the highest level for decades. It is punched, tanned and sewn with much love and care. Most of it is still done by hand.

When we held these leather bracelets in our hands for the first time, it was immediately clear to us: it doesn't get any better than this.

The velvety soft cowhide leather and the outstanding workmanship of our specially developed premium bracelets create a noticeably pleasant feeling when worn.

Easy strap change without tools

Thanks to the quick-change system, you can give your timepiece a new look in just 10 seconds:

1 — Slide the pin of the spring bar inwards.

2 — Pull the strap off the watch.

3 — Put on a new strap by sliding the pin inwards again and inserting the spring bar one after the other into the holes in the case.

How is the movement maintained?

We recommend that you have your watch serviced every 3-5 years if it is used daily.

Since there are oils and resins in the watch that can dry out over time, they should be replaced regularly, otherwise mechanical abrasion or bearing damage can occur in the movement. Seals should be checked every 5 years and replaced if necessary, crown and barrel every ten years. This ensures that you will enjoy your mechanical watch for a long time.

You can have your watch serviced directly by our watch service or by one of our specialist retail partners in your area.
